Strengthening One Home Team Through Learning
At the Home Team Academy, we bring officers together through curated courses and shared learning experiences to build and inculcate a strong One Home Team mindset and culture across departments.
Building and Inculcating the One Home Team Mindset and Culture
HTA plays a central role in building and inculcating the One Home Team mindset and culture through structured developmental pathways and immersive learning experiences.
The Home Team Foundation Course (HTFC) brings together senior officers from across departments to deepen their understanding of the Home Team concept. Through collaborative discussions and shared experiences, participants strengthen cross-agency relationships and reinforce a collective leadership identity anchored in common mission, vision and values.
The Home Team Frontline Supervisor Course (HTFSC) develops frontline leaders who operationalise strategy and drive mission outcomes on the ground. By training supervisors from different Home Team Departments together, the course strengthens inter-agency trust, sharpens joint operational awareness, and cultivates shared accountability for mission success. Through this structured and collective learning experience, officers internalise the understanding that effective operations are achieved by working cohesively as One Home Team.
Complementing these efforts, the Civilian Milestone Programme 3.0 builds and inculcates the One Home Team culture among civilian officers. The programme equips them with the mindset and competencies to work seamlessly alongside their uniformed counterparts, fostering mutual respect, operational appreciation and a shared commitment to achieving Home Team mission outcomes.
The Home Team Gallery 3.0 serves as a key institutional platform for building and inculcating the One Home Team mindset and culture beyond the classroom. Through immersive storytelling and interactive experiences, the Gallery enables officers to reflect on our collective journey, appreciate the sacrifices and achievements of fellow officers, and understand the shared mission that binds us together.
More than a heritage space, the Gallery plays a vital role in helping every officer recognise that they are part of the Home Team as a unified force. It supports the internalisation of the values and principles that every Home Team officer should uphold, fostering pride, collective memory and a strengthened sense of belonging to One Home Team.
