Home Team Gallery

Housed within the Home Team Academy (HTA), the Home Team Gallery (HTG) tells the story of Singapore's Home Team, its values, and its work. Through artefacts, testimonies, interactive exhibits, and games, the HTG showcases the roles and values of Home Team (HT) officers, fostering a shared identity across the Home Team Departments (HTDs) as 'One Home Team'.

Background, History and Significance

The HTG was officially opened on 19 September 2008 by then-Deputy Prime Minister Prof S Jayakumar. After a year-long, the HTG reopened on 8 September 2026 as part of HTA's 20th Anniversary Celebration, with a public opening from 1 December 2026 onwards. The HTG seeks to foster the 'One Home Team' mindset and inculcate the HT’s core values across its agencies by offering a space where officers can learn about the significance of the HT concept together and develop a deeper appreciation of their collective mission.

The 2026 content refresh builds on that foundation. New artefacts, updated exhibits and an expanded use of technology – including AI avatars, multimedia game stations, projection mapping and digital displays – have been added to keep the HTG’s offerings current and relevant to Singapore’s evolving security landscape, and for different audience groups.


The refresh also marks a step outward, as the HTG prepares to open its doors to the general public for the first time. The HTG’s public opening seeks to foster a stronger, more meaningful connection between the Home Team and the community it serves, reflecting the Home Team’s recognition that public understanding and trust are vital to Singapore’s safety and security.

The public can visit the HTG from 1 December 2026 onwards. A minimum of 10 visitors is required for a tour to proceed, and visitors will be notified in advance of whether their tour is confirmed. Only confirmed visitors will be admitted on the day. 

Tours will be guided by docents and run for one hour per slot, accommodating up to 25 visitors. 

The HTG’s opening hours are as follows: 

  • Tue to Fri: 9.30am – 6.15pm (last tour starts at 5.15pm)  

  • Sat: 9.30am – 4.30pm (last tour starts at 3.30pm) 

  • Sun and Mon: Closed 

Visitors should note that security and bag checks are in place upon entry to HTA. Travelling light with a small bag is encouraged.
